TERRAMAR TALES (Gedo Senki)

It is a Japanese animation film produced by Studio Ghibli.It is the sixteenth production of the Studio Ghibli after the production of El Castillo Ambulante directed by Hayao Miyazaki.

History places us in the archipelago of Terramar, where there are dragons, magicians and ghosts, talismans and powers. It is a world ruled by magic and, above all, by words, for each thing possesses its true name, the one appointed during Creation, which gives the sorcerers dominion over the elements and the animals. Its people, simple and calm, have as their sole objective to achieve peace and wisdom...

Personajes principales:

Arren
	He’s the main character in the play, who murders his father and steals a very valuable sword from him. At the beginning of the film he meets Gavilan a sorcerer who saves him and from there the two of them together begin a new adventure between places that he has never seen before so as to leave behind everything that torments him.
Therru
	Therru is a girl who saves Arren from men who enslave girls. She slaps him in the face and runs away.
Gavilan
	He’s a sorcerer who likes to travel without knowing where he’s going, but he always comes back, on one of his trips he meets Aren and saves him, and proposes that he be his traveling companion.
Tenar
	She take kare of Therru. At some point in the story she will meet the other characters who will mark her life.

My opinion on the film is positive, as always the Studio Ghibli surprises us both graphically and by the history and imagination of the film. I recommend it especially for people who like fantasy.

This film takes us through a journey to achieve inner peace.
